The LWVSNM will hold its June meeting via Zoom conferencing.  It will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8.  If you would like to join the Zoom conference, please email Co-President Eileen VanWie (lwvsnm.pres.e@gmail.com) several days before the meeting.  The guest speaker will be Dulcinea Lara, a professor with the NMSU Department of Criminal Justice. She is also the Director of Borderlands and Ethnic Studies (BEST).  She will discuss the history and contemporary landscape of education in New Mexico, particularly with regard to Native and Mexican/Mexican-American youth.
