One of the LWVSNM goals is to promote JEDI principles – Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.  To encourage that effort, League members will discuss the book, “An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States (Youth Edition) by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz (2019, Beacon Press).  Any League member is invited to the book review with a primary goal to diversify membership and to continue our learning about diverse people.

Obtain the book on your own, and email a co-president to let them know you want to participate in the discussion. It begins at 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24 via Zoom.
